Lyrics
First frost on the factory gate Five a.m., I am not late Hands in my pockets, boots on the ground The whole town sleeping, I make the sound Open it wide, open it wide Steel door, frost breath, I walk inside Open it wide, open it wide The morning is cold but I have pride Light up the lamps, start up the line Work is a fire, and the fire is mine Coffee in a dented cup Friends at the gate, we all show up Frost on the rail and frost on the ground We laugh at the cold and we turn it around Open it wide, open it wide Steel door, frost breath, I walk inside Open it wide, open it wide The morning is cold but I have pride Light up the lamps, start up the line Work is a fire, and the fire is mine Breathe out, white as smoke Hear the engines wake One more day, one more shift Nothing here will break Open it wide, open it wide Steel door, frost breath, I walk inside Open it wide, open it wide The morning is cold but I have pride Light up the lamps, start up the line Work is a fire, and the fire is mine Open it wide Open it wide
