Lyrics
Daddy's up before the sun He moves a little slow I warm his slippers by the stove Like he did long ago Warm them slow, warm them slow Daddy's slippers by the stove Warm them slow, warm them slow Now I'm the one who cares He used to carry me upstairs When I fell asleep Now I fold his blanket round And tuck it at his feet Warm them slow, warm them slow Daddy's slippers by the stove Warm them slow, warm them slow Now I'm the one who cares Time goes round, time goes round Love comes back around Warm them slow, warm them slow Daddy's slippers by the stove Warm them slow, warm them slow Now I'm the one who cares
