Lyrics
The club was closed, the bus was gone The rain came down so hard We laughed and walked along Right to your front yard It was the wrong night But the right one with you Slow walk, slow walk Kiss on the doorstep too Wet shoes and a borrowed coat Nothing went our way But I would take this crooked night Over any perfect day It was the wrong night But the right one with you Slow walk, slow walk Kiss on the doorstep too Porch light glowing gold Warm enough to hold It was the wrong night But the right one with you Slow walk, slow walk Kiss on the doorstep too
