Lyrics
Late summer evening and the sky's on fire Ice cream truck jingle, kids climbing higher Sneakers on the wire hanging over the street Everybody out and we're feeling the heat Basketball bouncing on the corner court Fresh fade, fresh fit, we came to sport Golden hour glowing on the brick and glass Block don't quit, we're having a blast Clap your hands, one, two Golden hour coming through Golden hour bounce, bounce, bounce! Block don't quit, hear the whole crowd announce! Golden hour bounce, bounce, bounce! Late summer glow, we're not slowing down now! Hands up high, let the sunset in Block don't quit, we're about to win Jump rope turning with a double-Dutch beat Grandma on the stoop tapping both her feet Speakers on the sidewalk, bass in the air Everybody dancing like they just don't care Skye on the hook, got the whole block singing Little kids laughing, the whole street swinging Streetlight flicker on but we're not going in Golden hour's calling, let the night begin Clap your hands, one, two Golden hour coming through Golden hour bounce, bounce, bounce! Block don't quit, hear the whole crowd announce! Golden hour bounce, bounce, bounce! Late summer glow, we're not slowing down now! Hands up high, let the sunset in Block don't quit, we're about to win Sky goes pink and the fireflies show Cooler wind rolling, a little bit slow But the energy's up, we're not coming down Best night of the summer in our little town One last shot and the ball goes in Everybody screaming like we're about to win Late August magic on the concrete floor Block don't quit, give us one more Hey, hey, hey, hey Don't let the sun go away Hey, hey, hey, hey We got one more day Golden hour bounce, bounce, bounce! Block don't quit, hear the whole crowd announce! Golden hour bounce, bounce, bounce! Late summer glow, we're not slowing down now! Hands up high, let the sunset in Block don't quit, we're about to win Golden hour bounce Block don't quit
