Lyrics
I hear your door at seven I hear your radio I never say good morning I don't know why, I don't know We pass here on the staircase We both look at our shoes I could say a word to you But I keep the same old news Maybe tonight Maybe tonight I left a note on your door, number nine It just says hello It just says hello I left a note on your door, number nine Now I wait, now I wait Nothing to lose Nothing to lose Just a note on your door The paper is a little bent The pen is running low I wrote it down so softly So the words would not be slow I heard a little rustle And a smile behind the wood Then a note slid out beneath Saying hello is good Maybe tonight Maybe tonight I left a note on your door, number nine It just says hello It just says hello I left a note on your door, number nine Now I wait, now I wait Nothing to lose Nothing to lose Just a note on your door Hello Hello Hello I left a note on your door, number nine It just says hello It just says hello I left a note on your door, number nine Now I wait, now I wait Nothing to lose Nothing to lose Just a note on your door Hello, number nine Hello
