Lyrics
Dad is slower on the stairs I wait at the top He holds the rail with both hands I don't say stop Take your time, I'm here Take your time, I'm here Step by step, I'm here Take your time He used to carry me up Asleep on his arm Now I carry his coat And I keep him warm Take your time, I'm here Take your time, I'm here Step by step, I'm here Take your time One more step One more step I'm here Take your time, I'm here Take your time, I'm here Step by step, I'm here Take your time Take your time I'm here
