Lyrics
Packed the snacks and the sunny-day playlist Map on my phone says the long way's the best way Sunglasses on, there's a whole wide road And nowhere to be till the sun goes low Turn it up, turn it up Feel the engine hum Windows down, volume up Sing it loud, we're not giving up Windows down, wind in my hair Golden highway, going anywhere Fields roll by in a patchwork quilt Billboard says the next town's worth the stop We trade the wheel, trade the harmonies Everybody's off key, nobody minds a bit Turn it up, turn it up Feel the engine hum Windows down, volume up Sing it loud, we're not giving up Windows down, wind in my hair Golden highway, going anywhere Mile by mile the worries get small Shrinking in the mirror till they're gone One more chorus, one more song We're all the way out and we're still going on Windows down, volume up Sing it loud, we're not giving up Windows down, wind in my hair Golden highway, going anywhere Windows down, volume up Golden highway, going anywhere
