Lyrics
Boxes in the corner, the house is nearly bare Radio still playing, music in the air You hold out your hand and you smile at me Say the best of this old house is you and me Take my hand, take my hand Floorboards know the plan Slow dance in the hallway light We're swaying in the golden night Empty rooms and a melody Everything we need is you and me Slow dance in the hallway light Everything's alright, everything's alright Marks on the doorframe where the children grew Paint is peeling but the love is new Soft shoes shuffling on the wooden floor One more dance, then we'll close the door Take my hand, take my hand Floorboards know the plan Slow dance in the hallway light We're swaying in the golden night Empty rooms and a melody Everything we need is you and me Slow dance in the hallway light Everything's alright, everything's alright Years go by like a rolling tune Sunday sunrise and the afternoon Wherever we land, wherever we stay Dancing together, come what may Slow dance in the hallway light We're swaying in the golden night Empty rooms and a melody Everything we need is you and me Slow dance in the hallway light Everything's alright, everything's alright Sway with me, sway with me Hallway light and harmony
