Lyrics
Canvas over the painted mane Fairground quiet in the rain The music's stopped, the lights are low Little horse, you've nowhere to go Sleep now, horse, round and round Dream of the gentle turning sound Sleep now, horse, round and round Stay close, I'm right here, safe and sound Brass pole shining, cold and still Sleeping softly on the hill Children's laughter, long ago Lives inside your painted glow Sleep now, horse, round and round Dream of the gentle turning sound Sleep now, horse, round and round Stay close, I'm right here, safe and sound Spring will come and wake the track Lamps will flicker, music back Till then rest your wooden feet Dream of something slow and sweet Sleep now, horse, round and round Dream of the gentle turning sound Sleep now, horse, round and round Stay close, I'm right here, safe and sound Sleep now, horse Round and round
