Lyrics
You kept the old snapshot In your coat all year Two of us at the pier You said you'd keep it near I said I'd come back Before the summer's end I kept my word, my love Now hold my hand again Slow down, hold on Say it soft to me I am here, I am here Just where I said I'd be Slow down, hold on Say it soft to me The picture's soft and worn The edges all gone grey But your smile is the same As it was that day Slow down, hold on Say it soft to me I am here, I am here Just where I said I'd be Slow down, hold on Say it soft to me Close your eyes Close your eyes Here I am Here I am Slow down, hold on Say it soft to me I am here, I am here Just where I said I'd be Slow down, hold on Say it soft to me Say it soft Say it soft to me
