Lyrics
Shift is done, the sun is low The highway's full, but I'm gonna go Tap the wheel, the engine hums Home by seven, here it comes Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Brake lights and thunder, I'm on my way Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Sing it loud, we'll make it today Brake lights and thunder, home by seven The driver next to me is tired But he grins and turns the music high We both are heading to a door Where somebody waits and waves goodbye Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Brake lights and thunder, I'm on my way Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Sing it loud, we'll make it today Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Slow down, slow down The road will let us through Slow down, slow down Somebody's waiting there for you Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Brake lights and thunder, I'm on my way Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Sing it loud, we'll make it today Brake lights and thunder, home by seven Home by seven Home by seven
