Lyrics
Got a gold star on my paper Stuck it on the fridge Underneath the magnet Of a little ceramic bridge Nobody else would notice But I know it's there Every time I fetch the milk I'm smiling in the air Gold star, gold star on the door I did a little something more Small things count, they count to me Gold star shining happily Gold star, gold star on the door Shining all day long Made a cup of morning tea Without a single spill Finished one small chore I'd left Sitting on the sill Tiny wins on tiny days Add up to a song A gold star for the hours That I carried all along Gold star, gold star on the door I did a little something more Small things count, they count to me Gold star shining happily Gold star, gold star on the door Shining all day long Give yourself a sticker For the things you do Nobody has to clap for you Your own applause will do Gold star, gold star on the door I did a little something more Small things count, they count to me Gold star shining happily Gold star, gold star on the door Shining all day long Shining all day long Gold star
