Lyrics
The bell rings out, the doors fly wide Backpacks swinging, nothing left to hide Locker's empty, paper's in the air Last day of school, and we don't care Hey, hey, grab a pen Sign my arm, then sign again Signed my yearbook in marker Summer starts now Shout it out loud, we made it somehow Run through the gate, don't look back Summer starts now, summer starts now Mister Lewis waves from the hall He says have a good one, one and all Ran down the steps and I lost a shoe Don't need it, I'm so happy, how about you Hey, hey, grab a pen Sign my arm, then sign again Signed my yearbook in marker Summer starts now Shout it out loud, we made it somehow Run through the gate, don't look back Summer starts now, summer starts now We sit on the curb and share one fry Nobody wants to say goodbye Next year we'll be bigger, taller, loud But today we're the best little crowd Whoa-oh, whoa-oh Whoa-oh, whoa-oh Don't forget my name Don't forget my name Signed my yearbook in marker Summer starts now Shout it out loud, we made it somehow Run through the gate, don't look back Summer starts now, summer starts now Summer starts now Summer starts now
