Lyrics
Rain on the roof of the rehearsal room Four old friends and a flickering light We haven't spoken in a long, long time But the amps still hum like they did that night Somebody's hands are shaking on the strings Somebody's eyes are wet Nobody says what we all are thinking We haven't played together yet Count it in Let the thunder begin The band got back together in the rain We play the old songs again Years like iron, hearts like glass Every riff brings back the past Hold the line, hold the line You are still a brother of mine The band got back together in the rain We are loud and alive again Drummer's hair is turning white as snow Bass is older but the growl is still deep We argued once about something small Now the silence is too much to keep First chord rings and the floor starts to shake The old pain washes out We never needed to say we're sorry The music said it out loud Count it in Let the thunder begin The band got back together in the rain We play the old songs again Years like iron, hearts like glass Every riff brings back the past Hold the line, hold the line You are still a brother of mine The band got back together in the rain We are loud and alive again Wind outside, thunder in the walls Four voices in a single call No one leaves, no one falls We are home The band got back together in the rain We play the old songs again Years like iron, hearts like glass Every riff brings back the past Hold the line, hold the line You are still a brother of mine The band got back together in the rain We are loud and alive again In the rain Again
