Lyrics
Truck's in the street with the ramp pulled down Whole crew showed up, best squad in town Couch on my shoulder, it won't make the stairs Spin it, tilt it, we don't have a prayer Boxes marked kitchen, boxes marked books Boxes marked misc with some questionable looks Sweat on the forehead, pizza on the way New place, new keys, it's a brand new day One, two, three, lift Hold that corner, don't let it drift Heave! Ho! Moving day! Carry it up and we carry it away Heave! Ho! Everybody say We the muscle, we the crew, moving day! Mattress on the fire escape, who had that plan Skye's got the lamp and the plant in her hand Tempo on the dolly going down the ramp Wheel hits a pebble, we all start to cramp Neighbors on the stoop with a lemonade Cheering every box like it's a parade Last load in as the sun goes low Wall to wall hustle, now watch me glow One, two, three, lift Hold that corner, don't let it drift Heave! Ho! Moving day! Carry it up and we carry it away Heave! Ho! Everybody say We the muscle, we the crew, moving day! Empty room, echo, that's the sound of new Fill it up with friends and a speaker or two Floor's our table, we're eating on the ground Best housewarming that I ever found Heave! Ho! Moving day! Carry it up and we carry it away Heave! Ho! Everybody say We the muscle, we the crew, moving day! Heave! Ho! Moving day!
