Lyrics

I made a sign out of a pizza box
The marker ran out halfway through
I am standing at the arrivals gate
In my brother's lucky shoes

The doors go open, the doors go shut
My heart is going boom boom boom

I made a sign for you
And it says everything
Hold it up, hold it high
Hey hey hey
I made a sign for you
Come on through the door
I have been waiting all day long
And I am not waiting anymore

There is a man who has a balloon
There is a girl who has a drum
Everybody here is wearing a grin
Waiting for someone to come

The doors go open, the doors go shut
My heart is going boom boom boom

I made a sign for you
And it says everything
Hold it up, hold it high
Hey hey hey
I made a sign for you
Come on through the door
I have been waiting all day long
And I am not waiting anymore

Here you come
With your bag and your hair a mess
Here you come
I forgot what I was going to say
So I just wave the sign

I made a sign for you
And it says everything
Hold it up, hold it high
Hey hey hey
I made a sign for you
You came through the door
I have been waiting all day long
And I am not waiting anymore
