Lyrics
Rain on the roof Tea in the pot Slippers on my feet And the world can wait a lot Window's all misty Blanket on my knees Nowhere to be Just a slow morning breeze Rain on the roof Tea in the pot Soft little morning Is all I've got Rain on the roof Hold me near Cosy little morning Nothing to fear Toast on the table Honey in the spoon Radio is playing A gentle little tune Cat on the cushion Purring soft and low Let the grey sky tumble I'm happy to stay home Rain on the roof Tea in the pot Soft little morning Is all I've got Rain on the roof Hold me near Cosy little morning Nothing to fear Drip, drip, drip Slow and sweet Drip, drip, drip Keeping time with my heartbeat Maybe later I will walk Under the dripping trees For now I'll sip and sway In the kitchen with ease Love is in the little things A cup, a song, a seat Rainy day, rainy day You're so sweet Rain on the roof Tea in the pot Soft little morning Is all I've got Rain on the roof Hold me near Cosy little morning Nothing to fear
