Lyrics
Thirty-six degrees and the street is shining Fire hydrant fountain, kids all lining Ice-cream drips on a paper cone Nobody's going home, nobody's alone Feel it in your feet, feel it in your toes Hot, hot, hot, and the music goes Melting pavement disco, hey! Dance on the sunshine, hey! Melting pavement disco, hey! Everybody's glowing, let it show Sandals slap and the speakers boom Summer's turned the whole block into a room Melting pavement disco, hey! Dance till the stars come out to play Water balloons like the colours of a rainbow Auntie on the steps with a paper fan, doing a slow-mo Shadows grow long but the beat stays hot Dance a little more, whether you want to or not Feel it in your feet, feel it in your toes Hot, hot, hot, and the music goes Melting pavement disco, hey! Dance on the sunshine, hey! Melting pavement disco, hey! Everybody's glowing, let it show Sandals slap and the speakers boom Summer's turned the whole block into a room Melting pavement disco, hey! Dance till the stars come out to play Hands up high, wave them like a breeze Sip some water, take it easy, please Drink up, cool down, then back we go One more chorus for the show Melting pavement disco, hey! Dance on the sunshine, hey! Melting pavement disco, hey! Everybody's glowing, let it show Sandals slap and the speakers boom Summer's turned the whole block into a room Melting pavement disco, hey! Dance till the stars come out to play Hey! Hey! Melting pavement disco Hey! Hey! Let it glow
