Lyrics
Kitchen floor is clean and bare Radio plays soft in there Grandpa puts his glasses down Says come here and turn around Left foot, right foot, slow and easy Left foot, right foot, hold me steady Dancing shoes upon the tile Teach me how to dance a while Count it out, one, two, three Step along and follow me Kettle sings a little tune Sunlight dancing round the room Left foot, right foot, slow and easy Left foot, right foot, hold me steady Dancing shoes upon the tile Teach me how to dance a while Don't you rush, no, don't you rush The music waits for us Don't you rush, no, don't you rush Every step is love Now I know the steps by heart Every dance, a brand new start When I'm old and you are gone I will hum this little song Left foot, right foot, slow and easy Left foot, right foot, hold me steady Dancing shoes upon the tile Teach me how to dance a while Left foot, right foot Slow and easy Left foot, right foot Hold me steady
