Lyrics
Rain on the platform roof Drops on the yellow line The board says a little late I have nowhere to be tonight Wait with the rain, wait with the rain The last train is on its way Wait with the rain, wait with the rain Nobody's in a hurry today Puddles hold the signal lights Red and green and blue A coat pulled up around my chin I'm thinking about you Wait with the rain, wait with the rain The last train is on its way Wait with the rain, wait with the rain Nobody's in a hurry today Somewhere the rails are humming Somewhere the lights are low Whatever is coming It will find me slow A far-off hum, a gentle glow The rain is soft and thin I fold my hands and breathe out slow And let the evening in Wait with the rain, wait with the rain The last train is on its way Wait with the rain, wait with the rain Nobody's in a hurry today Wait with the rain Wait with the rain
