Lyrics
Your light comes on at half past six Mine comes on at six oh five Two years of nodding on the stairs Never said hi, never said hi Your curtain moves, my curtain moves Maybe we're both a little shy Wave to the window next door Wave, wave, wave to the window next door Maybe today you'll wave back Wave to the window next door I know the sound of your morning kettle I know your plant is growing tall I know your music through the wall But I don't know your name at all Your curtain moves, my curtain moves Maybe we're both a little shy Wave to the window next door Wave, wave, wave to the window next door Maybe today you'll wave back Wave to the window next door Hello, hello, it's only a word Hello, hello, I think you heard A small hello can open a door Hello, hello, and maybe more A note beneath your door today Just a smile and a cup of tea Knock knock knock, and there you are Funny how brave a morning can be Wave to the window next door Wave, wave, wave to the window next door You waved back, and now I know Wave to the window next door Hello, next door Hello, next door
