Lyrics
You stayed after class You saw me through Said I could do it And I believed you Thank you, teacher You left the light on Thank you, teacher I carried it on Chalk on your sleeve A book in your hand You never gave up You helped me stand Thank you, teacher You left the light on Thank you, teacher I carried it on Years have gone by I still hear you Try one more time Try one more time Thank you, teacher You left the light on Thank you, teacher I carried it on You left the light on
