Lyrics
The neon sign says vacancy Pink on the sand and pink on me We found a room at the end of the road Key on a string and a lamp turned low Stay with me in room nine The desert's dark but the light is fine Stay with me, hold my hand Two hearts on a quiet strand The air conditioner hums along Soft as an old forgotten song Curtains glowing the colour of rose Nobody knows where the two of us go Stay with me in room nine The desert's dark but the light is fine Stay with me, hold my hand Two hearts on a quiet strand Morning is far, so let it wait The sky is wide and it's not too late Whisper it softly, say it twice The night is ours and the night is kind Stay with me in room nine The desert's dark but the light is fine Stay with me, hold my hand Two hearts on a quiet strand Stay with me Room nine
