Lyrics
Found a tape inside my coat pocket Handwriting I don't know Someone left me ten small songs And a note that says hello Pressed it into the old player Hiss and then a drum Whoever made this made it kind Like they knew where I'd come from Play it again, stranger's tape Every song is the right one Play it again, stranger's tape I'm moving with the groove Track three is a slow bass line Track four I know by heart Nobody asked me who I was But they gave me a good start Play it again, stranger's tape Every song is the right one Play it again, stranger's tape I'm moving with the groove Flip it over, side two waits Whoever you are, thank you I'll pass it on to someone else When the night comes through Play it again, stranger's tape Every song is the right one Play it again, stranger's tape I'm moving with the groove Play it again Stranger's tape
