Lyrics
Late summer evening, air is warm Sun goes down slow Neighbours on the steps outside Nowhere else to go Stay a little longer, summer night Crickets sing, porch light Stay a little longer, hold me near Summer's almost here, summer's almost here Cold drink sweating in my hand Shadows stretch out long Somebody's radio down the street Plays a gentle song Stay a little longer, summer night Crickets sing, porch light Stay a little longer, hold me near Summer's almost here, summer's almost here Days get short, I know Leaves will turn and fall But tonight we sit and glow Sweet and warm, that's all Stay a little longer, summer night Crickets sing, porch light Stay a little longer, hold me near Summer's almost here, summer's almost here Stay a little longer, summer night
