Lyrics
Granddad never boasts or brags Keeps his medal in a bag Folded in the kitchen drawer Never talks about the war Proud, proud, proud of him Quiet proud and standing tall Proud, proud, proud of him Dance for Granddad, one and all Sunday suit and polished shoes Walks the street with no bad news Nods hello to everyone Quiet pride, a job well done Proud, proud, proud of him Quiet proud and standing tall Proud, proud, proud of him Dance for Granddad, one and all Hey! Stand up straight! Hey! Share the cheer! Hey! Quiet pride! Granddad's here! Now I show it, loud and clear Little steps and a great big cheer He just smiles and shakes his head Tap tap tapping, shoes of red Proud, proud, proud of him Quiet proud and standing tall Proud, proud, proud of him Dance for Granddad, one and all Proud of him! Dance for Granddad!
