Lyrics
Woke up and the air was soft Sunshine on the bedroom floor Winter coat is on the hook Not today, I'm out the door Neighbours leaning from their sills Everybody's smiling wide Someone's frying plantain down below Spring is here, it's on our side Feel it on my arms Feel it on my face Warm day, warm day Come and take your place Open up the windows, let the sunshine in First warm day, first warm day, let the party begin Open up the windows, let the good air through First warm day, hey! I'm dancing with you Windows open, hey! Windows open, hey! Sandals from the back of the shelf Dust them off and give a spin Kids are drawing on the street Chalk and laughter, let them in Old man on the corner bench Tips his hat and says hello Everybody's walking slow and light Warm wind, tell the whole town so Feel it on my arms Feel it on my face Warm day, warm day Come and take your place Open up the windows, let the sunshine in First warm day, first warm day, let the party begin Open up the windows, let the good air through First warm day, hey! I'm dancing with you Windows open, hey! Windows open, hey! Put your face up to the sky Close your eyes and count to three One, two, three, warm That's the sun on you and me Open up the windows, let the sunshine in First warm day, first warm day, let the party begin Open up the windows, let the good air through First warm day, hey! I'm dancing with you Windows open, hey! Windows open, hey! First warm day Windows open First warm day, hey!
