Lyrics
Met them in the rehearsal room After all these years Hugs and quiet laughter Little bit of tears Piano still is waiting Same old broken key Someone hums the first line And they all look at me The band still knows the song Even after so long Hands remember, hearts stay true The band still knows the song, me and you We were young and hungry Playing for the door Now we play for friendship Nothing to prove no more Voices come together Sweet and soft and slow Harmony is waiting Like it used to know The band still knows the song Even after so long Hands remember, hearts stay true The band still knows the song, me and you One more verse One more night Hold the note Hold it light The band still knows the song Even after so long Hands remember, hearts stay true The band still knows the song, me and you Still knows the song Me and you
