Lyrics
The kettle starts to hum The window's turning blue A radio on the shelf Is playing softly for you Turn it low, turn it low Let the kitchen glow A song comes in from far away And stays a while with me Turn it low, turn it low Nowhere else to go The little radio is on And the night is sweet and slow A spoon against a cup The tiles are cool and bare Somebody sings a song Like they know I am there Turn it low, turn it low Let the kitchen glow A song comes in from far away And stays a while with me Turn it low, turn it low Nowhere else to go The little radio is on And the night is sweet and slow Static and a melody Rain on the sill Everything is quiet now Everything is still Turn it low, turn it low Let the kitchen glow A song comes in from far away And stays a while with me Turn it low, turn it low Nowhere else to go The little radio is on And the night is sweet and slow
