Lyrics
The tables shine with candles in the evening The room leans in to hear what we will say Two families, a hundred friends, one story And every road that brought you here today So lift your glass, lift your voice Let the whole room make its choice Every glass held up to you Every heart is singing true Here's to the morning and the long years after Here's to the laughter in the dark and the light Every glass held up to you Hold each other, see it through Love is the harbour and love is the rafter Here's to the two of you tonight She found him in the middle of a Tuesday He found her where the borrowed umbrellas hung And something simple, something sure was started A song that every chorus now has sung So lift your glass, lift your voice Let the whole room make its choice Every glass held up to you Every heart is singing true Here's to the morning and the long years after Here's to the laughter in the dark and the light Every glass held up to you Hold each other, see it through Love is the harbour and love is the rafter Here's to the two of you tonight May the kitchen always glow May the doorway always know Your footsteps coming home Every glass held up to you Every heart is singing true Here's to the morning and the long years after Here's to the laughter in the dark and the light Every glass held up to you Hold each other, see it through Love is the harbour and love is the rafter Here's to the two of you tonight Here's to the two of you tonight
