Lyrics
I found a tape in a shoebox, scribbled in your hand Fourteen songs for summer, a map of what you planned Press play, the hiss comes humming, the years fall away You're laughing in the chorus, and I'm smiling today Rewind, rewind, take me back Rewind, rewind, to the track Side A, side B, side you Every song still rings true Side A, side B, side you Mixtape heart, I'm in love anew Mixtape heart, I'm in love anew Track five was the bus ride, track nine was the sea You wrote the names in pencil, you saved a song for me The little click of the button, the turn of the spool Handwritten love in a plastic jewel Rewind, rewind, take me back Rewind, rewind, to the track Side A, side B, side you Every song still rings true Side A, side B, side you Mixtape heart, I'm in love anew Mixtape heart, I'm in love anew Flip it over, the other side plays Sweeter than I remember, those golden days Slow down, slow down, let it spin The best part is where we begin Side A, side B, side you Every song still rings true Side A, side B, side you Mixtape heart, I'm in love anew Mixtape heart, I'm in love anew Side you Side you Press play again
