Lyrics
Found a card in the kitchen drawer Grease stain in the corner Her writing slants across the page Like she was in a hurry Flour on the counter Radio turned low I read it out loud, slowly Like she's standing in the room Add a little love Stir it till it's right Grandma's recipe Still warm tonight Add a little love Stir it nice and slow The house smells like her And I don't want to go It says a pinch of this It says a dash of that I never learned the measures She just knew by heart I burned the first one black I burned the second too The third one came out golden And I cried into the pan Add a little love Stir it till it's right Grandma's recipe Still warm tonight Add a little love Stir it nice and slow The house smells like her And I don't want to go Stay a while Stay a while The oven's warm Stay a while Add a little love Stir it till it's right Grandma's recipe Still warm tonight Add a little love Stir it nice and slow The house smells like her And I don't want to go Still warm tonight Still warm tonight
