Lyrics
Wind is knocking on the shutters like it wants to come inside Candle on the staircase, throwing shadows soft and wide Radio is crackling with the warnings and the news Blanket on my shoulders, got no place that I would choose Let the sky say what it's saying We are safe in here, we're staying Typhoon night, stay with me Candle low and the roof is steady Let it howl, let it roll Got your hand and that's my whole control Typhoon night, hold me slow Every gust is just a lullaby I know Rain is drumming on the window like a slow and heavy beat Tea is steaming in the kitchen, socks on both our feet Neighbors tapping on the wall, a little knock to say hello We are all inside together while the big wind blows Let the sky say what it's saying We are safe in here, we're staying Typhoon night, stay with me Candle low and the roof is steady Let it howl, let it roll Got your hand and that's my whole control Typhoon night, hold me slow Every gust is just a lullaby I know Morning will come with the broken leaves Sunlight sweeping what the night believed But right now, right here, this little glow Is the only place I want to go Typhoon night, stay with me Candle low and the roof is steady Let it howl, let it roll Got your hand and that's my whole control Typhoon night, hold me slow Every gust is just a lullaby I know Stay with me, stay with me Let the storm sing quietly
