Lyrics
Under the awning, a stand in the rain A wrench and a pump and a patient chain Fixing a wheel at a quarter to three Humming along, just the night and me Spin the spokes, spin them slow Round and round and off we go Spin the spokes, spin them slow Fix it up and let it roll A flat tyre tucked in a little blue bucket Soap and water and a bubble to find Patch it up and press it down Easy hands and an easy mind Spin the spokes, spin them slow Round and round and off we go Spin the spokes, spin them slow Fix it up and let it roll Somebody's morning ride is waiting Somebody's road is wet and long A little oil, a little patience And the wheel remembers the song I wipe my hands and hang the light Pull the awning down tonight Bicycle bells ring far away Slow spokes spinning into day Spin the spokes, spin them slow Round and round and off we go Spin the spokes, spin them slow Fix it up and let it roll Spin the spokes Fix it up and let it roll
