Lyrics
Standing at the stop with my coffee in hand Timetable says it's not going as planned Instead of a sigh I'm tapping my shoe Nothing to do but a dance or two Shoulders up and shoulders down Best little show in the whole town Dance like the bus is late, late, late No need to hurry, no need to wait Dance like the bus is late, hey! Turn the pavement into a sunny stage Dance like the bus is late, late, late Everything's better when you celebrate Dance like the bus is late, hey! We'll get there when we get there, okay Lady with the umbrella is tapping her heel Boy with the backpack knows the feel Pretty soon the whole line sways Funniest morning in many days Shoulders up and shoulders down Best little show in the whole town Dance like the bus is late, late, late No need to hurry, no need to wait Dance like the bus is late, hey! Turn the pavement into a sunny stage Dance like the bus is late, late, late Everything's better when you celebrate Dance like the bus is late, hey! We'll get there when we get there, okay Clap your hands, one two Spin around, that's what we do Here it comes, I see the light Wait, one more song, it's alright Dance like the bus is late, late, late No need to hurry, no need to wait Dance like the bus is late, hey! Turn the pavement into a sunny stage Dance like the bus is late, late, late Everything's better when you celebrate Dance like the bus is late, hey! We'll get there when we get there, okay Late, late, late, but I'm feeling great Bus pulls in and we all say wait One more spin, then we climb on board Good morning, everybody, dance is the reward
