Lyrics
I pressed record on a rainy night Twelve songs in a careful row A pen that nearly ran out of ink Wrote your name on the label slow Press play, this one's for you Side B, taped for you Every song says what I can't say Press play, this one's for you I waited for the song to end So the clicks would not be loud I wrote the order out by heart To make you smile somehow Press play, this one's for you Side B, taped for you Every song says what I can't say Press play, this one's for you Rewind it when you miss me Fast forward when you're fine The hiss between the tracks Is just the sound of time Press play, this one's for you Side B, taped for you Every song says what I can't say Press play, this one's for you Side B, taped for you Press play
