Lyrics
The ice machine hums down the hall The sign out front is buzzing low One light on in the office The desert is cold and slow I have a key with a plastic tag I have a bed that is clean The night is wide and quiet The quietest I have seen Desert moon, shine on my window Desert moon, I am okay I drove all day to get here I can rest and go in the morning Desert moon, I am okay A truck goes by on the highway Its lights slide across the wall I count the stars through the curtain I do not miss anyone at all Desert moon, shine on my window Desert moon, I am okay I drove all day to get here I can rest and go in the morning Desert moon, I am okay Hum, ice machine, hum Hum, ice machine, hum Sleep now, sleep now Desert moon, shine on my window Desert moon, I am okay I drove all day to get here I can rest and go in the morning Desert moon, I am okay Desert moon, I am okay Desert moon
