Lyrics
A phone booth glowing on the corner Rain running down its panes Nobody calls it anymore But the light stays on in the rain Pick it up, say hello Somebody's out there, I know The light stays on, the light stays on Pick it up, say hello Coins in my pocket, none to spend Just a place to stand and dry The glow is like a friend Who never asks me why Pick it up, say hello Somebody's out there, I know The light stays on, the light stays on Pick it up, say hello Every number I remember Is a window far away And I hold the quiet receiver Till the rain goes grey Pick it up, say hello Somebody's out there, I know The light stays on, the light stays on Pick it up, say hello The light stays on Say hello
