Lyrics
I dropped my key on the evening street Never felt it fall Someone ran behind me, breathless Holding it, that's all You found my key, you found my key You put it in my hand You found my key, you found my key And I could say thank you again Your hand was warm, the light was low We smiled like we both knew Some small kindness in the dark Can feel like something new You found my key, you found my key You put it in my hand You found my key, you found my key And I could say thank you again Maybe I'll see you on this street Maybe I never will But somewhere a door is open And the light is burning still You found my key, you found my key You put it in my hand You found my key, you found my key And I could say thank you again You found my key You found my key
