Lyrics
Float is rolling slow down Main Street way Glitter on the cardboard, it's parade day Driver steering careful, eyes on the road Pothole in the pavement, here we go Bounce, bounce, the whole float shakes Streamers in the air, everybody wakes Wave to the crowd with a wobbly grin Pothole dance, let the show begin Pothole dance, pothole dance Bounce it on the street, give the float a chance Wave your hands, shake your feet Pothole dance, feel the beat Marching band behind me hitting every note Little kids on the curb with candy in the coat Mayor in the convertible smiling wide Hits the same pothole, can't hide Balloon bobbing sideways, confetti in the air Whole town laughing, nobody cares Every bump is a drumbeat, every dip is a groove Parade day magic, we're in the move Pothole dance, pothole dance Bounce it on the street, give the float a chance Wave your hands, shake your feet Pothole dance, feel the beat Left, right, bounce, bounce Slow down, speed up, bounce, bounce Hold on to the banner, hold on to the cheer The best parade is the one that's right here Sun going down and the route is done Sticky hands and tired feet, everybody won Float back in the garage with a glittery trail Town still humming, tell the tale Next year bigger, next year loud Same old pothole, same old crowd We don't need it smooth, we need it real Pothole dance is the best part of the deal Pothole dance, pothole dance Bounce it on the street, give the float a chance Wave your hands, shake your feet Pothole dance, feel the beat Pothole dance Feel the beat
