Lyrics
Steam is rising from the pot Tomato, pepper, oh so hot Wooden spoon is my microphone Auntie hums and I'm not alone Stir it left, stir it right Everybody's smelling something bright Jollof pot, jollof pot, dance with me Shake the spoon, one two three Everybody in the kitchen sing Jollof pot, let the good times ring Hey! Jollof pot! Hey! Cousins coming through the door Plates are stacking on the floor Plantain sizzling golden brown Turn the music up, no sitting down Stir it left, stir it right Everybody's smelling something bright Jollof pot, jollof pot, dance with me Shake the spoon, one two three Everybody in the kitchen sing Jollof pot, let the good times ring Hey! Jollof pot! Hey! Taste it, taste it, is it right A little more spice and we're all right Clap your hands and slide your feet Sunday kitchen, hear that beat Jollof pot, jollof pot, dance with me Shake the spoon, one two three Everybody in the kitchen sing Jollof pot, let the good times ring Hey! Jollof pot! Hey! Stir it left, stir it right Dinner's ready, dance tonight
