Liner notes

After years of big rooms we went back to the small ones: village fetes, laundromats, the cinema that reopened down the road. Third place and grinning is the spirit of the whole record. We recorded it in our old church hall in Bristol with the same radiators ticking, and nobody remarked on it because it felt like going home.
