Dancing Shoes by the Door

A two-song single about small things left by the door.

Tracks

  1. 1. Dancing Shoes by the DoorRed shoes I left by the door the last time I danced. The A-side because it's the one my mum hums.rocksteady ballad, lovers rock3:53
  2. 2. Letter in Your Own HandA letter on the mat, blue ink, crooked line. I kept the band small so you can hear the paper.lovers rock, soft reggae3:00

Liner notes

After the EP found its way onto the pirate stations, people started writing to me. This single is my thank-you: a pair of red shoes and a letter in blue ink. I recorded both in an afternoon at the community hall where I first sang in front of anyone.
