Lyrics
Red shoes by the door Where I left them last Dust upon the leather From a dance in the past Heel worn down a little Strap a little loose They remember every Saturday They remember you Dancing shoes by the door Waiting for the song Dancing shoes by the door Dreaming all night long Maybe tomorrow I'll lace them up slow Dancing shoes by the door Still know where to go Sunlight on the floorboards Lazy afternoon I hum a little rocksteady Soft and out of tune The radio is playing That old sweet refrain My feet begin to tap Just like before again Dancing shoes by the door Waiting for the song Dancing shoes by the door Dreaming all night long Maybe tomorrow I'll lace them up slow Dancing shoes by the door Still know where to go One step, two step Easy does it now One step, two step The floor will show me how Oh, the music never leaves It only waits for me Dancing shoes by the door Waiting for the song Dancing shoes by the door Dreaming all night long Maybe tomorrow I'll lace them up slow Dancing shoes by the door Still know where to go Still know where to go Still know where to go
