Their story

Isla Brennan studied cello before discovering her singing voice in Glasgow's small jazz bars in 2025. Her first recordings, made in a church hall with a pianist and a cellist, form the debut collection 'Platform Lights'. She is just beginning, and her slow, aching ballads are already finding late-night listeners.

Influences: Slow torch ballads, chamber-jazz cello, rainy-harbour folk melodies, midnight train timetables
