Lyrics
Found my dancing shoes today Back behind the winter coats Dust on the heels Dust on the toes Still a little bit of glitter on the soles I put them on in the hallway light The floor creaks soft and slow I am not tired I am not old I just forgot how the music goes Dance, dance, dance in the kitchen Dance in the dim yellow light Old shoes, old shoes, new night Dance, dance, dance a little longer Nobody's watching tonight Old shoes, old shoes, new night The radio hums a slow old song My feet remember the way One step left One step right The shoes are still glad to stay Dance, dance, dance in the kitchen Dance in the dim yellow light Old shoes, old shoes, new night Dance, dance, dance a little longer Nobody's watching tonight Old shoes, old shoes, new night Put them on Put them on Everything fits Everything fits Dance, dance, dance in the kitchen Dance in the dim yellow light Old shoes, old shoes, new night Dance, dance, dance a little longer Nobody's watching tonight Old shoes, old shoes, new night Old shoes, new night Old shoes, new night
