Lyrics
Boxes by the door Tape across the floor The room is very quiet now I stand here once more Pencil marks on the door Higher every year Pencil marks on the door I was little here I say goodbye slow I say it soft and low Pencil marks on the door I will always know The kitchen light is on Mom hums an old song The house is almost empty now But it feels like home Pencil marks on the door Higher every year Pencil marks on the door I was little here I say goodbye slow I say it soft and low Pencil marks on the door I will always know Close the door Turn the key Take a breath Look at me Pencil marks on the door Higher every year Pencil marks on the door I was little here I say goodbye slow I say it soft and low Pencil marks on the door I will always know Last night here Last night here
