Lyrics
First rain on the tin roof Tap tap tap, hello Steam up from the pavement Everybody slows Chai is in the kettle Window open wide Monsoon came to find us Let it in, let it in Clouds roll in like music Soft before the drum Rain, rain, sing it on the roof Rain, rain, we're dancing in the room Warm and slow, let the sky come down First rain, first rain, rain on my town Neighbours on the balcony Cups held in two hands Kids are in the puddles Splashing where they stand Dusty street is shining Green is coming back Every drop a handclap Rhythm on the track Clouds roll in like music Soft before the drum Rain, rain, sing it on the roof Rain, rain, we're dancing in the room Warm and slow, let the sky come down First rain, first rain, rain on my town Hush now, hush now Hear it on the tin Hush now, hush now Let the day begin Rain, rain, sing it on the roof Rain, rain, we're dancing in the room Warm and slow, let the sky come down First rain, first rain, rain on my town Tap tap tap, hello First rain, rain on my town
