Lyrics
Mister Lee keeps the corner shop Open before it's light Kettle on behind the counter Everything feels right Sugar and tea at the corner shop door Come on in, we'll talk some more Sugar and tea, a kind word too Corner shop keeps a seat for you He knows my name, he knows my mother Knows just what I need Bread and milk and a little story Never in a speed Sugar and tea at the corner shop door Come on in, we'll talk some more Sugar and tea, a kind word too Corner shop keeps a seat for you Rain outside, warm inside Bell above the door Everybody's welcome here Who could ask for more Years go by, the shelves stay full Of little things that last He waves goodbye, I wave back Slow and sweet and fast Sugar and tea at the corner shop door Come on in, we'll talk some more Sugar and tea, a kind word too Corner shop keeps a seat for you Sugar and tea Sugar and tea
