Lyrics
Down the hall past room nine-ten The ice machine is humming again Carpet quiet, lights turned low Nowhere to be and nowhere to go Hum along, hum along The hallway knows a gentle song Hum along, hum along Stay close, I'm right here all night long Key card sleeping in my coat A paper cup, a little note Every door is closed up tight Everyone dreaming, I'm alright Hum along, hum along The hallway knows a gentle song Hum along, hum along Stay close, I'm right here all night long Cold clink, soft clink Somebody far away will drink And never know that I was here Listening, listening, soft and clear Morning is a long way off Just the hum and a little cough Let the corridor carry me Slow and warm and easily Hum along, hum along The hallway knows a gentle song Hum along, hum along Stay close, I'm right here all night long Hum along, hum along Hum along
